What are tenants responsible for?  

Rent Solutions has a free advice service available for our tenants. For example if you are struggling to pay your rent or have suddenly become unemployed you may be entitled to some help.

Our experienced and efficient property management team can advise on all aspects of the lettings and buying process from expected market rent and property presentation to credit checks on tenants and legislation changes governing landlords. Rent Solutions has also built up a bank of quality tradesmen who are able to maintain and repair property on the landlord’s behalf as well as helping to evaluate and regularly update landlords on the condition of their properties.

Rent Solutions Limited (RS) is a Property Lettings and Management Agent working on behalf of Landlords and Tenants.

As required by Consumer Rights Act 2015 the following fees are charged for RS services.

1. Introducing Prospective Tenants to Landlords – £175.00
This fee is payable by the Landlord only and covers the cost of finding a tenant and compiling and producing the AST and all necessary paperwork including inventory, handover of property and exit of tenant. The fee is per property.

2. Application Fee – Payable by the Tenant only - £75.00 per application fully inclusive.
This allows us to conduct a reference check on any applicant on behalf of the Landlord.

3. Arrangement of Assured Tenancy Contracts (AST) between Landlord and tenant – Included in no 1. No separate charge is required.

4. Carry out Property Management Services for Landlords – Part of the Monthly management charge once a property is rented out and payable by the Landlord/Owner only.

Rent Solutions Limited is a member of an authorised client money protection scheme.
